Whitehouse saber rattling makes me uneasy

I woke this morning to several articles indicating that Bush's whitehouse is again saber rattling, like he did prior to the Iraq war: Spy Agencies Say Iraq War Worsens Terror Threat (who knew we were so close to a war with Iraq?) and President George Bush might be planning to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. Personally, I think Bush should have a timeout and have a note sent home to his parents.

Here, here... Let's give him another challenging read (like "My Pet Goat") and send him off to the corner for some introspective assessment (BTW, I moved your post to the correct area again. Also, I spent most of the day yesterday programming up the "Digg this story" button for blog entries as I know how much you like that site and would want that option here. Hopefully, we'll get some use out of it... :-)

Google: Good or evil

Google's mantra is "Don't be evil".

Here at Policital Suicide and other blog sites you happily post your opinions, thinking that your views will only be used for their stated purpose, to foster political conversations.  With the elimination of certain inalienable rights that the Bush Administration has pushed for recently, I have to wonder how long (or if already), Google and other search mechanisms will be used to data mine the internet for fodder for the meat grinder.  Perhaps it's  advisable for these blog sites to block robots/googling/caching of the sites....

Martial Law

It seems that President Bush has privately added more laws giving himself additional powers to declare martial law, except few know of it due to his hiding the signing cerimony in his office.

Along the same lines of this, check out this post about a legal immigrant that has been detained, mostly incommunicado, for over 5 yrs. Scary, scary stuff.

Do you think we should be pulling out of Iraq and if so, on what time schedule?

We should leave immediately.
We should leave in the next few months.
We should leave by the end of next year.
No, we should stay in Iraq with no timetable for leaving.
